"The CHP aims to improve understanding and communication between women and girls on the autism spectrum and their neurotypical (NT) loved ones."

From The Curly Hair Project website . . .

"The curly hair project (CHP) is a social enterprise with worldwide appeal dedicated to supporting females with Asperger’s Syndrome (AS) and other autism spectrum disorders (ASD)."

The mission of CHP

"The CHP aims to improve understanding and communication between women and girls on the autism spectrum and their neurotypical (NT) loved ones."

I'm delighted to be a Trainer for the Curly Hair Project, one of two Trainers in the United States.

It's with much joy that I will be presenting on behalf of The Curly Hair Project at the 2017 Minnesota Autism Conference.

The 60 minute presentation is titled "How Does Personality Type Affect Autism". The presentation will be given Thursday, April 27 from 2:30-3:30PM CST. This presentation is helpful to adults with ASD, family members supporting someone with ASD, and professionals working with someone with ASD.

You might find the video below from The Girl With The Curly Hair a supportive addition to the Minnesota Autism Society Presentation. In this video, Nele explains the struggles of being an extrovert autist.

Please check back here often as I post dates for Curly Hair Workshops in and around the Twin Cities and St.Croix Valley area.
